Our third concert took place at Hundred Years Gallery on 04 July 2015 and featured the usual mix of cross-discipline performances and Fluxus text scores.
Edward Henderson caressed the piano and remembered melodies from his childhood in Milk 2,
Louis d’Heudieres delivered a lecture on La Monte Young,
David Pocknee sang some of Leo Svirsky‘s Aphorisms,
Andy Ingamells demonstrated his bowmanship,
Michael Baldwin ground out a gruelling realisation of Luke Nickel‘s [factory],
Tim Cape imagined what a new music would look like if it was a boy scout initiation ceremony,
And we all finished with a performance of Christian Wolff’s Looking North, played on two guitars, percussive objects, singing bowl, and aerosol spray can.
Listen back to a broadcast of the whole of WEISSLICH 3 on sonica.fm alongside a conversation between Michael Baldwin and Graham Mackeachan about Luke Nickle’s [factory] at 40’00”
